Abstract

 

The purpose of this research is to investigate the level of Organizational Citizenship Behavior : OCB and the level of perception of Fairness in Organization, including the factors which related to the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of the government officer in Bureau of Academic Services, The Secretariat of The House of Representatives. The target of this study is 104 government officers in Bureau of Academic Services, The Secretariat of The House of Representatives. The questionnaire is designed to collect individual information in order to analyze personal data on OCB and the perception of Fairness in Organization. The results have been shown as follows;

  1. The government officers in Bureau of Academic Services, The Secretariat of The House of Representatives have a high level of Organizational Citizenship Behavior. ( X =3.97)
  2. The government officers in Bureau of Academic Services, The Secretariat of The House of Representatives have a medium perception of Fairness in Organization. ( X =3.45)
  3. The only significant factor (0.05) related to Organizational Citizenship Behavior is salary factor (r = 0.24) whereas other factors; age, experience , education , common level , and the perception of Fairness in Organization are not significant to Organizational Citizenship Behavior.
